Dr. Sue Wendling grew up in Ohio but has lived in the Pacific Northwest for over 40 years. As a child she was obsessed with animals, especially horses. As an adult, her passion has been for dogs. Her newest venture is rescuing older dogs who have lost their homes.

Dr. Sue has one adult son, an Ironman, scuba instructor, world traveler and owner of Bula Kava House and she has one adorable grandson.

From early on, Dr. Wendling has been a student of natural medicine. For example, as a practicing dentist, her office became mercury free in the mid 90’s which at the time, was considered to be quite progressive in the US. She is currently retired from private practice but continues to consult, speak and teach in the field of dentistry.

The doctor’s interest in mild hyperbaric oxygen therapy came as a result of her own personal health journey which had necessitated her retirement. She suffered from chronic Lyme disease and an associated blood disorder that caused the bone to die in her joints. Months before she was to get yet another joint replacement(her knee this time), she decided to take matters in to her own hands and tried Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Astonishingly, in three weeks she grew healthy bone in the place of the “dead” bone in her knee. That was 5 years ago, and the knee remains healthy and also her Lyme Disease is in remission.

Dr. Sue’s life has been dedicated to helping people and she is passionate about making Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy accessible to others.
